Control and power to the outdoor units is provided through the CAT-5 cable, so that no power line wiring is required to the mast mounted antennas.

You can also set up your NovaSpot as a paid access center. Your NovaSpot comes with all the necessary software to accept credit cards and process user authentications. Set up your own price plan or use one of our standard plans. For most plans, 80% of the fees are paid back to you, the operator of the hotspot. .

NovaSpots are legal for use in almost every country (anywhere that 802.11g wireless is used.) There are some differences in channel allocation and power output limits, but your NovaSpot will be configured to comply with requirements in your jurisdicition.

For some installations, where your facility is spread over a large area, such as a campground, marina, motel, or the like, it is necessary to use our outdoor unit. This unit comes with a 50 foot cable and can be installed on a rooftop, flagpole, or antenna mast. It comes with either an omnidirectional antenna, which transmits equally in all directions; or a beam type antenna, which transmits mostly in a single direction. Either model is complete with all installation hardware and cables for $399. This unit, mounted on your office roof, will cover a circle with a 2000 foot radius or more.
